About Freedom Foundation

Our Story

Founded in 2002, Freedom Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives and communities through rehabilitation, education, empowerment and lasting social impact. We run critical programs such as House of Refuge, a substance abuse rehabilitation and recovery facility, Genesis House, a safe haven for survivors of sexual exploitation and Bethesda Child Support Foundation focused on providing tuition-free and quality education for underprivileged children in Nigeria. Guided by a vision of hope and restoration, we work to restore dignity, provide second chances and empower individuals to live productive and meaningful lives.

At Freedom Foundation, we shine Christ’s love into broken places, giving hope and empowering people to rebuild their lives and transform their communities.

Dr. Tony Rapu

Dr. Tony Rapu is a doctor, pastor, mentor and social reformer. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Freedom Foundation.

His vision is to transform lives and communities through strategic interventions that reach people across all walks of life. He has created innovative solutions to tackle challenges such as drug addiction, urban poverty and community development, driving lasting change and hope.
